Erin Kim
Founder / President / Chief of Operating Officer
My name is Erin Kim, and I’m currently a junior at the Academies at Englewood with a strong passion for equal opportunity and education. I am a strong advocate for the power of communication, collaboration, and kindness to create positive changes in the world. As the founder, I launched this venture with the goal of bridging societal gaps and providing diverse groups of students with the opportunities they deserve in order to pursue their dreams. Through this initiative, I aspire to offer college tours, guidance, and accessible resources to high school students who need physical and/or financial support. In my free time, I typically enjoy playing golf & tennis, doing my make-up, listening to music, and hanging out with friends. Ultimately, I hope to make a significant impact on students' educational journeys, just as others in my community have done for me. Thank you, and I look forward to many college tours and create a brighter, more inclusive future for high school students!
Grace Kim
Co-Vice President / Marketing Officer
My name is Grace Kim, and I am currently a junior at the Academies at Englewood who’s passionate about creating opportunities for others. I’ve seen how much a little guidance or support can help someone succeed, which is why I’m so excited to be part of Youniversity. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, shopping, listening to music, and playing the piano. These activities inspire me and keep me grounded, which is why I value connection and creativity so much. I’m thrilled to be part of this venture, where I can help other students overcome challenges and achieve their goals. Through this project, I hope to help other students overcome challenges and feel supported as they work toward their goals!
Yuri Han
Co-Vice President / Director of Community Outreach
My name is Yuri Han, and I am currently a junior at Bergen Tech High School. I deeply believe that all students deserve the opportunity to pursue their dreams regardless of their background. Therefore, I am particularly committed to initiatives that empower individuals through access to education and resources, creating a sense of inclusion and equity amongst all students. Outside of academics, I am an active member of my school’s bowling team, play the piano, perform as a flutist in the orchestra, volunteer at nursing homes, and contribute to other non-profit organizations through my school. These experiences have strengthened my dedication to helping others and inspired me to create meaningful changes within my community and beyond. Through my involvement, I aim to make a positive impact on my community and help create opportunities for others to thrive.
